Host Guidelines

Guidelines for Outing Hosts:

Have the directions to the outing available. Check with Eric, he may have this infomation.

Have a list of possible alternative places to stay, such as campgrounds,

RV parks and motels. If possible include phone numbers.

Have a good general idea as to what will be taking place during the outing.

Greet members as they come to the outing.

Decide if there will be a sponsored or coordinated meal during the outing.

If so, plan for a theme for the meal (mexican, bar-b-que, burgers / hot dogs, potluck, etc.)

Make sure there are paper plates, plasticware and garbage bags are available (chapter can provide these).

Decide if there will be one or more games to play.

What will the game(s) be, what prizes will be awarded (check with chapter leadership for prize budget), who will run the game(s).

Take pictures of the happy outing participants and send pictures to Roland, Eric S. or Carl.

You don't have to do everything yourself. The chapter leaders and board members are available to help. If you have questions or concerns, contact Greg or Roland.
